Why a baby elephant?

Because it's cute. And because in Tanzania, one of the countries where we have created our water projects, elephants are very present and experience climate change and lack of water. They are in fact very dependent on this resource, especially to cool off during the hot African days. However, the increase in temperatures causes the water to evaporate faster and jeopardize their thermoregulation.

From Tanzania with love

Effie is a creation of Neema Crafts, a laboratory in Iringa, Tanzania, which deals with the social reintegration of people with disabilities. The craftsmen were involved in the water project carried out by us in the Iringa region.

Our project in Tanzania involved more than 20 communities between villages and districts, for a total of over 200 million liters of water guaranteed to their families. Accessible water contributes to not only hygienic, but also economic, agricultural and social development.
