Maddalena is one of the most important international companies in the water metering instruments field. Founded in 1919, the company has constantly developed its organizational structure and its range of domestic and large user meters, to the point where it is now meeting the requirements of the main water utilities worldwide and manufacturing over three million meters every year.

Water is essential to life but it is a scarce resource. Maddalena wants to foster water efficiency by reducing waste, turning efficiency into the driver of growth for investment, and the basis of sustainable development.

For these reasons, Maddalena chose WAMI because they believe, like us, that everyday actions can have extraordinary results.

Our partnership includes several areas of action: For Christmas 2020, a branded Clima water bottle will be produced and distributed to many customers and stakeholders to raise awareness of the fundamental right of access to water, the need to reduce the usage of plastics, while contributing to the Tengori project with an additional 1,000 liters of water for each water bottle donated.

At the same time, Maddalena has already made its know-how available to WAMI to launch an important water compensation project.

By sharing these values, Maddalena offers its concrete contribution to projects working towards the 17 SDGs of the United Nations. Maddalena acts towards Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation by supporting 20 families in District no. 7 in Senegal, and towards Goal 15: Life On Land by also encouraging plastic-free consumption among its employees, by beta-testing the WAMI Dispenser, and by including recycled plastic bottles in the vending machines used in its premises.
