We at Mama Shelter have joined WAMI in their mission of granting water to communities that do not have direct access to it. But how does it work? We'll tell you, keep reading.

First of all: why water?

Did you know that water is still unattainable for ore 700 million people? Most of them live in rural and isolated areas and spend many hours of their day to recover this precious resource. The lack of drinking water not only endangers the health of people, but also takes away precious time from women and children who usually take care of the supply. The lack of adequate education is the first obstacle to poverty reduction, for this reason investments in drinking water, hygiene and health have a high economic and social return on developing communities.

About WAMI's mission

This is where WAMI comes in...

WAMI builds water projects in villages without access to drinking water. Their project is a self-feeding cycle: 1 WAMI product = 100 liters granted! And ther's a code on every can to meet the family you're granting water to. There are 50+ projects out there, for a total of more than 8 billion liters donated.

About WAMI's projects

We joined WAMI's mission of changing the way people drink, so that you too can grant 100 liters of water every time you enjoy WAMI. In your room you can find wanderfuse and WAMI water in the mini-fridge. Scan the QR code you find in the pack to meet the family you're granting water to and log you code into WAMI's web-app to keep track of your impact. Let's do it.
